Concept
Our collaboration with Neucleus Education, a science-based parenting brand founded by Dr. Shane in Malaysia, began with a clear understanding: brand refresh doesn’t mean starting over, but building on what already works. In early meetings, we discovered that their logo had recently been redesigned with a solid foundation. Rather than proposing a full redesign, we focused on optimizing and extending the visual identity system to unlock more value. Our strategy drew from two key ideas — “Genetic Data,” inspired by the brand’s scientific roots, and the “Conversation Bubble,” hidden within the logo’s negative space, symbolizing dialogue and empathy in parenting. Together, these formed the conceptual base of a system that balances clarity, flexibility, and emotional connection. We expanded Neucleus’s color palette into a more layered and recognizable system, and developed a series of geometric elements derived from the logo, allowing for dynamic, modular compositions. These elements were applied across various touchpoints — social media posts, educational materials, presentation templates — ensuring visual consistency while allowing creative adaptability.
